Jeff and Sharon we are so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. It is not very often in this life you meet a person with such a pure heart. Jeff your father treated my like I was a lifelong friend. I have thought of you and him often. Our condolences and prayers for your family. Steve and Nancy Anderson.

My condolences to the Albert family. I have great memories of biking with Russ, especially RAGBRAI the year of his 80th birthday. He was an inspiration not only biking, but his curiosity and knowlege, [Lewis and Clark comes to mind], and how he made friends so easily. I met up with him in Florida at an RV park where he was staying several years ago. Everyone we saw there knew him as if he had been there forever.
I'll miss the feeling that "Iron Russ" is well, riding his bike, and pursing his many interests.

My great sympathy to you Jeff; & the rest of your family. I will miss Russ. I really enjoyed riding with him on Tuesday nites. He always had great & interesting stories to tell. I just saw Russ last fall riding on the WRGT! Incredible!!! So sorry.
