Roberta (Kenneally) McIntyre

Roberta J. McIntyre, age 72, passed peacefully Monday evening on June 7th, 2021. Roberta, daughter of Robert J. and Eva P. (Groh) Kenneally was born on December 28th, 1948.

Roberta graduated from Villa Angela High School, then proceeded to earn a degree in Nursing at Lakeland Community College. She embraced a rewarding 47-year nursing career and left her mark every step from Booth Hospital to retiring from Glenbeigh. Lakeland Community College inducted Roberta into the Alumni Hall of Fame recognizing her dedication.

Roberta valued family as an essential part of her life. She treasured being a mother, showing her loving nature through precious memories with her children. She was a compassionate sister and a doting aunt. Roberta cherished her friends and held them near and dear. She had a taste for life, she enjoyed traveling and embraced new adventures. Roberta loved her books and coloring. Roberta developed an intimate Catholic relationship during her time at “The Sisters of Saint Dominic.” For the last 40 years, she was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish. Faith in the Lord was her guiding light through her life.

Roberta McIntyre was survived by her children Joshua L. McIntyre, Elizabeth A. Holder, Sarah M. McIntyre, her grandchildren, Damian M. Holder, Ethan N. Holder, and her sister Eva M. Shuss. She was proceeded by her parents Robert Kenneally, Eva Kenneally, her Sister Patricia Kenneally, her brothers Robert Kenneally and Adam Kenneally.
