Leith “Midge” Bancroft, 68 of Jefferson died Thursday (July 22nd) at the Saybrook Landing in Saybrook. She was born February 12, 1953 in Ashtabula the daughter of Lawrence Charles and Isabel (Sasso) Rebera and has been a lifetime area resident
She was a 1971 graduate of St. John High School and had been employed as a hairdresser and she had worked for 22years at the Geneva Giant Eagle.
She enjoyed family friends and cooking and gathering with those she loved most.
Surviving her is her husband Robert Bancroft whom she married October 21, 1978; two sons, Robb and Brandon Bancroft of Ashtabula. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother Morley Scott.
A mass of Christian burial will be Thursday (July 29th) at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Mother of Sorrows Church, 1464 West 6th St. Ashtabula, Ohio Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery in Saybrook Township.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church( 11 am ) .
