Joseph W. Landis

Joseph W. Landis, 66 of Ashtabula passed away, Tuesday, May 26th at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home. He was born June 12, 1953 in Ashtabula, Ohio the son of Arnold and Velma (Rhoades) Landis and has been a lifetime area resident.

He had been employed by Rockwell Plastics and Hadlock Plastics until his retirement.

Surviving him are his step-children, Kevin Childs, Lori (Randall) Laslow, Shelley (Tim) Tyler and Ronald (Michelle) Childs, Jr.; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren, his brother, David Landis of Kingsville and a sister, Barbara Nuzum of Kingsville; two nieces, Diane Manfrodonia and Lacey Hicks.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sherrill in 2018 and a granddaughter, Melissa Sue Tyler.

Graveside services will be held At Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville at a later date.
