John Zaebst, 33 of Andover, died Tuesday (June 28th ) at his home. He was born November 18, 1988 in Ashtabula the son of Charles and Diana (Perfetto) Zaebst and has been a lifetime area resident.
He was a truck driver who enjoyed Farm all tractors and working on vehicles. A favorite movie of his was “Home Alone”. He was also a member of the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club.
Surviving him are his parents; his grandmother, Carol Zaebst; two sisters, Jessica (James) Pulling and Lillian ( Donovan House) Zaebst; a brother Oscar Zaebst; two half brothers, Ben Zaebst and Kyle Zaebst; a niece, Juniper House and his aunts and uncles, Jim (Linda) Zaebst, Regina (Mike) Krejsa, David (Nora) Perfetto and (Bernie) Perfetto. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lillian and Bernie Perfetto and his paternal grandfather, Charles Zaebst.
Funeral service will be Tuesday (July 5th) at 1:00 pm at the Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson St. Jefferson, Ohio. Burial will be in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
