Jewel White, 86, passed away on November 18, 2021 at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio.
Jewel was born on January 20, 1935 in Fleming, Kentucky, the daughter of Jim and Verdi (Mooney) Lawson.
She worked for Roller Reinforced Plastics for almost twenty years where she was a finisher/painter.
Jewel enjoyed making dolls and all sorts of crafting but her true source of joy and happiness was spending time with her great-grandchildren to whom she loved dearly.
Jewel is survived by her children, Marvin (Annette) White and Juanita (Frank Wlotzko) Kennedy; her grandchildren: Clarence White Jr., Jason White, Sheena Frampton, Krystal Pace, Sean Auxler, Melissa Radwaneky, Jennifer Supina, Christy Katola, Abby Long, Nicole Burdette, Daniel Mulholland, Michael Mulholland, Deanna Pahel, Misty Rogers and Brandy Rogers-Matthews; her siblings, “Ruby” Esther Long and Shelby (Larry) Kaden and numerous great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard White, her children, Clarence White and Darlene Samples, her siblings: Freddy Lawson, William “Buddy” Lawson, Shirley Lawson, Mable Lawson, Steven Lawson (infancy) and her granddaughter Molly White.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula, Ohio. Burial to immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in North Kingsville.
