[Howard E. Otto. Jr.] Howard E. Otto, Jr., 76, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 13, 2021.
He was born on March 20, 1944 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Howard and Mable (Tracy) Otto.
In March of 1965 Howard enlisted in the US Marines and very proudly served his country for 4 years during Vietnam.
On July 11, 1965 after completing boot camp he married Peggy Chapman, the love of his life and his bride of 55 years.
Howard was a member of the Eagleville Bible Church, the American Legion and VFW; the Jefferson Conservation Club and the Amboy Gun Club. He enjoyed shooting guns, diamond paintings, fishing; as well as collecting coins, antiques, Nativity Scene Sets and teddy bears. He was a proud and loving husband, father, and grandfather and he will be very dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife Peggy; his sons: Larry (Michelle) Otto, Denny (Joanie) Otto and Bobby (Amber) Otto; his grandchildren: Christopher Otto, Brandon Otto, Stephanie (Darayl) Reed, Chelsie Otto, Dylan Otto and Onna Otto; and his great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Marissa, Madison and Mason Reed; and his very spoiled dog "Kali."
He was preceded by his parents; his first born son Howard "Tracy" Otto III, his granddaughter Nikki Otto and his sister Phyllis Fischer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 20, 2021 at the Eagleville Bible Church - Calling hours 10:00-12:00, funeral at 12:00 and burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
