Fannie Kleps, 91, passed away on October 4, 2021 at Saybrook Landing Nursing.
She was born in Masontown, W. Virginia on May 7, 1930 the daughter of Walter and Lula (Jackson) May.
She was a very hard working wife and mother. Over the years she worked at many different places: Yoder Brothers Greenhouse, Great Lakes Automotive, Broadfield Manor, Perry Rayon, Gary Allen Sportswear, Lawless Container, and Inn Madison Nursing Home. She loved to garden, travel, go on bus tours, bowling, and play cards (especially in the canasta card club). She came from a large family and had a large family of her own; so for Fannie she knew that all you really need in life is the love and support of your family members; she loved and cherished each and every member of her family equally.
She is survive by her children: Robert Schaffer, Brenda(Paul) Moisier, and Patricia Lawson; her step-children :Robert Kleps, James Kleps, John Kleps, Gary Kleps, Denise Kleps, and Gordon Kleps; her siblings: Clifford May, Walter May, Phyllis Johnson, Janet Schaffer, Judy Johnson, and Susan Gresser; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William Kleps in 1986; her daughter Evelyn Johnson, her son Terrence Schaffer and stepson William Kleps, Jr. as well as siblings: Roger, Robert and Betty Lou.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-7:00; funeral will begin at 7:00 at Fleming Billman Funeral home, 323 S. Broadway St, Geneva, Ohio; burial will take place Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery
