Everett Sims, Jr.

Everett Sims, Jr. 82 passed away peacefully Friday (March 20th) surrounded by his family who loved him. He was born November 29, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky.

Everett worked for the Cleveland Electric Illuminating company before his retirement. He enjoyed taking care of his yard, going to car swap meets and being with family.

He leaves behind his wife Judy, son Jason (Ali) and a daughter Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Betty, Norma and Jewel.

At Everett’s request there will be no calling hours or public service. Everett wanted to thank family and friends for visiting these past two months of his illness; for their gifts and kind words. Everett also wanted to acknowledge the team from Hospice of the Western Reserve for their individual kindness shown at his time of need.
