Donald Wayne Bradbury

SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP- Donald Wayne Bradbury, 72, passed away on July 24, 2021, in his sleep, at home, following a very courageous battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma).

He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on October 12, 1948, the son of Donald and Junaita (Lyons) Bradbury.

He was a graduate of Geneva High School’s Class of 1966.  Following graduation in 1966 he joined the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and very proudly served his country for four years.

On June 29, 1968, he married his high school sweetheart and bride of 53 years, Charlotte Lines.  His career brought Charlotte and him to Lancaster, Ohio where they made their home for many years,

He enjoyed constructing models, gardening, yardwork and was also a gifted artist.  He was best known as a hardworking, loving and devoted husband.

He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte; his siblings: Ken (Susan) Bradbury, Gary (Carrie) Bradbury, Ron (Nora) Bradbury, Diane (Jon) Olson, and Becke (Bill) Creed; his stepmother Mary Bradbury; and his in-laws: Bonnie (Clarence) Spoor, Sandy Lines, Jerry (Saralyn) Lines, Betty Jane Dellaverson, and James (Suzanne) Lines; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Joseph Lines, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 at the Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 323 S. Broadway Street, Geneva with the funeral service on Thursday at 11:00 at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at 11:00 Friday morning in the Beam Church Cemetery in Gray, PA.
