Darlene Jo (Burlingame) Dunham

Darlene Jo Dunham, 70, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022 at her home in Eagleville.

Darlene was born on April 1, 1951 in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of Harry W. and Mary L. (Wichert) Burlingame.

After high school graduation she attended beauty school where she became a licensed beautician.  Darlene was a loyal employee of Hair Dimensions in Jefferson where she worked 50 years cutting and styling hair, making her clients as beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside.

Darlene married the love of her life, Charles E. Dunham, on December 4, 1998 at a beautiful ceremony at their daughter’s home in Jefferson.   Together they shared twenty-three wonderful years of marriage.

She was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church, and attended Eagleville Bible Church.

Darlene wanted her legacy to be, she enjoyed riding her own Harley alongside her husband. To her pride, together they journeyed in tandem through 49 states and 4 providences.   Her true source of joy and happiness was spending quality time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Mary L. Herpy (Grannie), her loving husband, Charles E. Dunham, her beloved children: Tina (Britt) Schwotzer, Tracey (Bill) Beckwith, Tony (Traci) Lambert, and C.W. (Adrian) Dunham, her grandchildren: Keston (Ana), Kirsten (Brandon), Bailey, Billy (Bria), Bodey, Alexa, Alesia, Kirkland, Luke, Brantley and Skylar and her great-grandchildren, Lexton and Adelyn.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harry W. Burlingame, her brother in infancy, Harry L. Burlingame and father Charles R. Herpy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming and Billman Funeral Directors, 49 West Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, burial to immediately follow the service at Eagleville Cemetery in Eagleville, Ohio.
