Constance L. Zack, age 86, died early Sunday morning at her residence in Jefferson Twp.
She was born May 29, 1933 in Stoney Point, PA, the daughter of Stanley & Elizabeth (Vegruatasky) Lemish and has resided in Ashtabula Co. much of her life. She was married to William J. Zack, Jr. on July 7, 1951. Constance worked many years at the General Electric Plant in Jefferson, taking retirement upon their closing. She enjoyed taking part in the General Electric girl’s retirees lunch group.
She was a member of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church. Vegetable and flower gardening were her passion, she loved her roses. She liked doing yardwork, canning and working the farm in her younger years.
Survivors include a son, Richard A. (Pamela) Zack of Jefferson; a daughter-in-law, Valerie L. Zack of Shawboro, NC; 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Amber, Laura, William IV, Ashley, Jacob, Abigail, Adrienne, Tracy & Rita and four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kassie, Braydon & Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William in 1998; a son, William III; a daughter, Diana Zack; a granddaughter, Melanie Zack and five siblings.
The funeral mass will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Calasanctius Church, 36 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev. Fr. John Ettinger officiating. Burial will be in Rays Corners Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson.
