Carol Wyrich Obituary

Carol Sue Wyrich, 76 of Geneva died Saturday (Sept. 5th) at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Ashtabula. She was born May 10, 1944 in Ashtabula, Ohio the daughter of Edmund Holland  and Robert and Lillian (Maxine) MacArthur.

She had worked at various restaurants in the area as a waitress including, Garfield’s, Carlisle’s, Lunchbox and Lakeway. 

She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Ashtabula. She enjoyed her tomato gardening. She was a loving mother who enjoyed her kids, grandkids, and later great -grandkids.

Surviving her are her seven children, Amy J. (Richard C.) Hutchinson of Geneva; Scott W. Warren of Florida, Jamie L. (Richard) Elrod of Ashtabula, Jodi L. Warren of Ashtabula, Kelly S. (Scott) Peggs of Ashtabula, Gina D. (Joseph) Kerns of Ashtabula and Suzanne MacArthur of Austinburg; twelve grandchildren, Stephen Bauman, Casey Bauman, Sharee McClintic, Dennis (Danyelle) Klinger, Jr., Brandon Hutchinson, Alexa Hutchinson, Kara Hutchinson, Jarrod (Katie) Elrod, Derek Elrod, Ryan Elrod, August Elrod, Aubrey Elrod, Kimberly Fogle, many great grandchildren; two brothers, Vaughn Richmond and Chuck  MacArthur. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Suzette MacArthur in infancy her husband, Bryan Ingramm in 1978 and her husband, William Wyrich in 2011 and two sisters, Jackie Palm and Delores Notte and a brother, Terry Rau.

A funeral service will be Thursday (Sept. 10th) AT 6:00 Pm at the Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 323 South Broadway, Geneva with Pastor Evan Nunnally of Life Line Church in Madison officiating. Burial will take place later in Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Blue Star Mothers of Ashtabula County or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Masks and social distancing are required

Carol was a resident and enjoyed the caregivers and the patients at Rae Ann Nursing Home in Geneva.  Her daughter Amy is grateful for their care. Special thanks to all the caregivers at Country Club Retirement Campus for their care and compassion in Carol's final days.
