Beverly Jean Turner age 79 passed away Tuesday January 12, 2021. She was born April 30, 1941 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Sadie (Burr) Hare.
Beverly was the graduating class of 1959 from Ashtabula High School. She received her RN degree from Trumbull Memorial School of Nursing. After graduating she worked as an RN at Ashtabula General Hospital where her greatest enjoyment of nursing was in the paternity ward taking care of all the babies. She also worked in different nursing homes off and on between 1962 and 1994 which is when she retired.
Beverly married her sweetie of 48 years Ronald J Turner on July 11, 1972 and began their life together. Beverly enjoyed reading her romance novels, crossword and word search books also loved doing puzzles and fishing with her husband. She loved the Cleveland Indians.
Beverly is preceded in death by her adopted parents (brother) Ray & (Mary) Hare, brothers; Algie Hare, Robert Hare and Jack Hare; sisters Winifred Whitt and Evelyn C. Loyd. Twin granddaughters Alexus and Alexandra Otto and grandson Nicholas Otto.
Beverly is survived by her husband Ronald J. Turner of Ashtabula
Children: Debbie Turner of Ashtabula, Ohio; John & (Sandy) Turner of Conneaut, Ohio ; Fran & (Marily) Otto of Ashtabula, Ohio; Jim & (Annie) Otto of Fyffe, Alabama; Peggy Turner of Ashtabula, Ohio; Eugene & (Fe) Otto of Painesville, Ohio and Bruce Turner of Ashtabula, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews.
The family would like thank Plymouth Fire Department and Cleveland Clinic.
Family is asking for no contributions, instead grab a chili cheese hot dog, cherry coke and nacho with cheese while watching the Cleveland Indians play and remember Beverly Jean Turner.
