Betty Lou (Coy) Bowser

Betty Lou (Coy) Bowser, 89, passed away on February 22, 2023 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township, Ohio.

She was born on June 28, 1933 in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of Henry E. and Florence (Libert) Coy.

On June 29, 1957, Betty married the love of her life, David Bowser, and they shared forty wonderful years of marriage together until his passing in 1997.

Betty came from a large family, being 1 of 11 children. Betty always felt so very blessed to be a Mom and her world revolved around her son, but once her son gave her a grandson, being a Grandma was her new and favorite title. She was extremely close to her siblings and spending time with her family was one of her greatest joys in life.

She is survived by her son, Eric (Kristen) Bowser, her grandson, A.J. Bowser, and many nieces and nephews that she adored.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings: sisters Jane Goff, Anna Belle Goff, Edith Coy, Hazel Coy, Alta Coy, Gertrude Coy (in infancy), and brothers Robert Libert, Perry Coy, David Coy and Kenneth Coy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10:00a-12:00p with a Funeral Service to immediately follow at 12:00p at the Geneva Home of Fleming and Billman Funeral Directors, 323 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
