Linda L. (Bissell) Pasky

Linda Bissell Pasky, age 75, Pierpont Twp., died Sunday evening at her residence.

She was born December 27, 1942 in Ashtabula, the daughter of the late Carl & Lorene (Smith) Bissell and has been an area resident all of her life.  Linda was a graduate of Austinburg High School and Defiance College.  She was married to the late Thomas P. Pasky on July 9, 1966 at the Austinburg Congregational United Church of Christ.  Linda was a learning disabilities tutor in the Buckeye School system for many years, then spent 20 years as assistant director of Ashtabula County Head Start prior to retiring in 2005.  Linda dedicated her professional life to helping children and families.

She was a member of the Austinburg Congregational United Church of Christ, was very active with the League of Women Voters and was a master gardener.

Survivors include two daughters, Meggan L. Pasky of N. Bloomfield & Tanya A. (Larry) Kidd of Pierpont Twp.; two granddaughters, Samantha Anne & Larissa Darleen Kidd; two brothers, James (Debbie) Bissell of Harpersfield Twp. & David (Debby) Bissell of Trumbull Twp.; a brother-in-law, Richard (Mary Jane) Pasky of Amherst; a sister-in-law, Joyce (Dean) della Volpe of Lakewood and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. at the Eagleville Bible Church, 1981 St. Rt. 45, Rock Creek, with her brother, David Bissell and Pastor Steve Arsulic officiating.  Lunch will follow the services at the church.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ashtabula Co.
