Kenneth W. Jones

Kenneth W. Jones, age 69, Lake Rd. West, Saybrook Twp., died Tuesday afternoon in the Hospice Unit at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.

He was born November 22, 1948 in Ashtabula, the son of Walter & Lucille O. (Ashley) Jones and has been an Ashtabula resident all of his life.  Mr. Jones was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Vietnam Era.  He was married to Hanh Thi Pham on September 28, 1970 in Vietnam.

Kenneth worked more than 40 years at Geneva Rubber Co. prior to their closing, then retired in 2011 from GMR in Ashtabula.  He was a member of Mother of Sorrows, Our Lady of Peace Parish.  Ken was a devoted family man, enjoying his grandchildren very much was loved by his grand-puppy, Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, Hanh, three children, Brian A. (Anne) Jones of Pickerington, Christopher A. (Adria) Jones & Kimberly A. (Kyle) Stroud, both of Ashtabula; nine grandchildren, Zachary, Jeremy, Avery, Nathaniel, Ashton, Ian, Brock, Ashley & Carson and two brothers, George (Susan) Stoneman in Florida & Larry (Kim) Stoneman of Ashtabula.

His parents and a grandson, Benjamin Michael Jones preceded him in death.
