Harold L. Pinney, 66 formerly of Ashtabula died Saturday (August 5th) at his home in Madison, Ohio. He was born April 12, 1951 in Ashtabula the son of Howard and Leoma (Ratcliff) Pinney and has been a lifetime area resident.

He was a 1969 graduate of Ashtabula High school and was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam.

He was a member of VFW Post #943 and was a Life Member  of the in Country Vietnam Veterans and also a member of American Legion Post #103.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his family and also enjoyed doing macramé.

Surviving him are his children, Jonathan (Amber) Pinney of Madison, Ohio; Jennifer Pinney of Florida, Jillian Pinney of Florida, Robert Heath of Erie, Pa, Kaylor Stecki-Heath of Ashtabula and Jon-Phillipe Heath of Ashtabula; eight grandchildren and a brother, Keith Pinney of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Randy Pinney and a sister, Judith Pinney.

Calling hours will be Thursday (August 10th) from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with military rites to follow at Edgewood Cemetery with American Legion Post #103 officiating.
