Glennella C. (Burkhart) Rauckhorst

Glennella C. B. Rauckhorst, age 74 of Harpersfield Twp., died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the UH Geneva Medical Center.  She was born on May 28, 1943 in Unionville, Ohio, the daughter of August A. & Martha Q. (Zuver) Burkhart.

She lived in Pasadena, Texas for 37 years before moving back to Ashtabula County 5 years ago.  She  enjoyed  ceramics, photography and painting.  Her strongest passion however was her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Rauckhorst of Geneva, whom she married on December 14, 1968; children, Vincent A. (Karla) Rauckhorst of Geneva, Edward A. Rauckhorst of Geneva and Emily M. (Daniel) Sanderson of Geneva; sister, Shirley Burkhart; grandchildren, Taylor A. Rauckhorst, Jonathan D. Rauckhorst, Mathew V. Rauckhorst, Amber N. Rauckhorst all of Texas, Forrest R. Saunderson of Geneva.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Samuel Burkhart, Cecil Fortier, Phil Fortier; sisters, Lillian Praszek, Emily Bilicic.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 12:00 P. M. the Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio  44041 with Elder Robert E. Hall officiating.  Burial will take place in Unionville-Alexander Harper Cemetery.

Visitation will take place at the Geneva funeral home from 10:00-12:00P.
