Antoinette "Toni" Josephine (Gallardo) Wright

Antoinette J. “Toni” Wright, age 72, of Hiram, died Monday morning at the Briar Hill Healthcare Center in Middlefield.

She was born April 6, 1945 in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of Joseph J. & Frieda (Davidson) Gallardo.  Toni resided in Ashtabula Co. more than 27 years before moving to Geauga Co. in 2007.  She was married to Jimmy Wright on May 18, 1969 in San Francisco.  Toni was a payroll clerk with the Ashtabula City Schools, retiring in 2004.

Toni loved to do volunteer work, especially for meals on wheels and spent many nights at the mental crisis center.  She was a member of the Masonic Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed wood carving.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy, two children, Michelle (Michael) Henry of Chagrin Falls and Jimmy J. (Amanda Dean) Wright of Canal Fulton and four grandchildren, Jordan, Collin, Sydney & Bailey.  Her parents and a sister, Linda Bishop preceded her in death.

The Social Order of the Beauceant will begin Masonic services Saturday at 1:00 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson.  The funeral service will begin immediately following the Masonic service.
