Shirley I. Moore, 94 of Mill St. Kingsville died Sunday (Oct. 9th) at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsville. She was born July 6, 1922 in Denmark Twp. the daughter of Asa and Hazel (Evans) Gochneaur and has been a lifetime area resident.

She had worked for Premix in North Kingsville for eighteen and half years retiring in 1985.

She is a member of The First Baptist Church in Kingsville; the Orion Chapter #12 OES; the Kingsville Village Golf League and the TOPS group where she was Kops at TOPS. She enjoyed bowling and golf. For many years she donated blood to the American Red Cross.

Surviving her are two sons, Robert W. Moore of Ashtabula and Walter L. Moore of Vancouver, Washington; two daughters, Darlene A. Labry of Kingsville and Shelia (Al) Rae Kaesman of Kingsville; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter in 2003; a great grandson, Corey Overly; two brothers, Robert and Merlon Gochneaur and a sister, Betty Wright.

Funeral services will be Thursday (Oct. 13th) at 11:00 AM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Rev. David Hines of the First Baptist Church of Kingsville officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville,

Calling hour will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home with Orion Chapter #12 OES conducting Eastern Star Services at 10:50 AM.
