Martha Vonner, age 91, Ninety Rd., Plymouth Twp., died Wednesday at the Cardinal Woods Nursing Home in Madison where she has resided the past two years.
She was born July 28, 1925 in Cleveland, the daughter of Philip & Dorothea (Bednick) Marchuk and was a Cleveland resident until moving to Plymouth Twp. in 1986. Ms. Vonner was a restaurant worker for many years in Cleveland working at Tony’s Spaghetti House and Mr. Z’s Restaurant, retiring in 1985.
She was of the Russian Orthodox religion and enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles.
Survivors include three daughters, Marlane K. Oleniacz of Brunswick, Valerie A. (James) Steiner of Plymouth Twp. & Maria K. (Thomas) Murphy of Cleveland, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Victoria Sawitzke & Dorothea Marchuk and three brothers, Carl, Paul & Philip Marchuk, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev. Fr. John Sheridan officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
