Keith E. Bailes, age 79, Lenox-New Lyme Rd., Lenox Twp., died unexpectedly Sunday evening.

He was born August 19, 1937 in Lenox Twp., the son of Ray D. & Ferne D. (Skaggs) Bailes and has been a Lenox Twp. resident all of his life.  Keith worked at the Bailes  General Store in Rock Creek in his younger years then spent more than 30 years at Welded Tube in Orwell, retiring in 2000.

Keith was an avid NASCAR and race fan, spending much time at the local race tracks.  He was a Cleveland Indians, Browns & Cavs fan, enjoyed fishing, bowling and all sports and loved having his Yorky, Sadie Mae with him.

Keith is survived by a brother, Robert R. (Christine) Bailes of St. Petersburg, FL, several nieces, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and cousins.  His parents and a brother, Larry L. Bailes preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with visitation from 10:00 A.
