Hildreth L. (Haug) Cash

Hildreth L. (Haug) Cash of Hartsgrove, OH passed away at home surrounded by family after a battle with cancer on February 18, 2018 at the age of 75.

Hildreth was born on October 4, 1942 in Newton, Massachusetts. Her family moved to Jamestown, NY and Hildreth graduated from Jamestown High School. She later attended Jamestown Community College, where she met her husband of 54 years Charles. They were married on November 15, 1963 and have been residents of Hartsgrove, Ohio for over 45 years.

Hildreth was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Bowie Haug and her father Curtis W. Haug.

Surviving her are her husband, Charles Cash; sons, Christopher (Jodi) Cash and Michael (Sandy) Cash; a daughter, Rebecca (Roger) Cash; sisters, Barbara Gray and Marsha Haug; brother, Peter Haug and grandchildren, Heather, Alexi, Christa, Carly, Michael, Emma and Gareth.

Hildreth was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to watch her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also spent many years traveling alongside Charles to softball tournaments he participated in. She was the official scorekeeper of the team. She was also a lover of books, birds, pinochle and crocheting.

At Hildreth’s request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
