George E. Mansfield, age 76, Lenox-New Lyme Rd., Lenox Twp., died Saturday morning at his residence.

He was born September 16, 1938 in Montville, the son of Albert D. & Charlotte (Mausling) Mansfield, living in the Jefferson area the past 30 years, previously living in Madison and growing up in Chardon.  George was married to Sarah S. (Donahue) Mansfield on December 25, 2006 at their home in Lenox Twp.

He was a retired electrician with A. J. Goulder Electric in Willoughby and IBEW Local #673, where he belonged for 45 years.  His interests include gardening, fishing and hunting, especially spending time at the hunting camp with good friend, Cliff.  He could fix anything and enjoyed doing for others.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah, children, Mark and Laura, step-children, Perry, Jeff, Kelly, Lee & Melissa, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother, Bill and sisters, Helen, Mary and JoAnn.

His parents, a brother, Butch and sister Jean preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson.  No funeral service will be held.
