Elsie D. Clements, 98, of the Jefferson Healthcare Facility, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 following an extended illness.

She was born on June 18, 1918, in White Sulfur Springs, WVA, the daughter of the late Charles B. & Betty L. (Perry) Young. 

She has been a resident of Jefferson and Ashtabula since 1955.

She is survived by a nephew, Charles J. Young; four nieces, Mary Coy, Louise Reed, Betty Hudson and Charlotte Stupiansky.  Many loving great nieces and nephews.

 She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Clements whom passed away on August 13, 1971; sisters, Gladys Allen, Malden McGirr, Beatrice Waggoner; three brothers, Earl L. Young, Oscar O. Young and Charles M. Young.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 at Dorset Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
