Earl J. Corron, age 81, E. Mulberry St., Jefferson, died unexpectedly late Tuesday afternoon at his residence.
He was born February 23, 1936 in Plattsburg, NY, the son of Raymond & Rhea (Baker) Corron. Earl has lived in the Jefferson area since 2002, coming from Catskill, NY. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in the New York Army Reserve.
Earl was retired from the contracting business, building homes and later installing commercial glass in high rise buildings. His interests include garden tractors, antique tractors and going to garage sales.
Survivors include two children, Michael A. (Annette) Corron of Anderson, SC & Rebecca L. (Bryan, Jr.) Harrington of Farmington, NY, five grandchildren, a brother, Alva (Alice) Corron of Jefferson and a sisters, Rita (Fred) Barnard of New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Alphedge & Albert Corron and two sisters, Gloria Cotten & Velma Sibley.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1-3 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Ashtabula Co. Antique Engine Club, 168-4026 Rt. 322, Williamsfield, OH 44093
