Dorothy A. Carraher, 90 formerly of South Ridge Rd. East Geneva died Friday (Aug. 21st) at the Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 4, 1925 in Geneva the daughter of Arthur and Mabel (Billman) Woodworth .

She was a graduate of Spencer High School and had worked for the True Temper Plant in Geneva and at Geneva Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Geneva Hospital;and a  a Red Cross Volunteer.

She enjoyed golf and bowling. She and her husband enjoyed many years traveling on Amtrak across country with their friends Mickey and Nyla Balint.

Surviving her is her son, John A. Carraher, Jr. of Kingsville; two grandchildren, Lisa (Randy) Jackson and Michael (Christine) Carraher; two great grandchildren, R. J. Jackson and Mackenzie Carraher and a brother, James (Patricia) Woodworth of Geneva. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John A. Carraher, Sr in 2013 and by a daughter, Kathleen Carraher in 1968.

A mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday (Aug. 25th) at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 S. Hubbard Rd., Madison with Rev. Father Melvin Rusnak officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.

Calling hours will be Monday (Aug. 24th) from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 323 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
